At Surface Repair Solutions, we apply our skills and best intentions to closely match each repair to the original item’s shape, colour, texture, and sheen level—within practical and material limitations. It is understood and accepted by the client that the item was already damaged before our intervention. Therefore, Surface Repair Solutions does not accept responsibility or liability for replacing the item if the repair is unsuccessful or not to the client’s expectations.

While we aim for a high-quality result, we cannot guarantee an invisible repair. All colour matching is done on-site, and although we typically achieve a good match from a viewing distance of 1 metre or more, lighting conditions, surface age, and fixed installation positions may affect the final appearance. Close-up viewing or specific angles may reveal the repair, and newly repaired areas may appear slightly different in sheen due to the contrast with older surfaces.

For acrylic plastic baths or shower trays, which are originally moulded and have a smooth, flat finish, it is not possible to fully recreate the original factory surface. Repairs will sit on top of the surface and may appear slightly raised or textured when viewed closely or under strong light.

Guarantee

We offer a 1-year guarantee (for domestic repairs only), covering:
   •    Peeling, flaking, or failure of adhesion—provided the following conditions are met:

Exclusions from Guarantee:
   1.    Use of abrasive, caustic, or bleach-based cleaners.
We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent. 
   2.    Damage caused by impact, mistreatment, chips, or scratches after the repair.
   3.    Staining from chemicals or dyes.
   4.    Exposure to direct flame or heat exceeding 350°C (no steam cleaning).
  5.  Issues resulting from structural movement, moisture ingress, or instability of surrounding surfaces.

Aftercare Instructions
   •    Do not touch the repaired area for 24 hours after completion.
   •    Avoid cleaning the area for 3 days to allow materials to fully cure.
   •    Never use solvents or industrial chemicals on the repair, as they can damage or remove the repair.
